please help me understand why I cannot use the &lt input="text" value="www.onepotcooking.com/amandadouglas/amaproj2009/viewuser.php

Start with the viewuser.php page and click on the link in the edit column. Link should take user to edituser.php where the form should display the current values of the row that the user wants to edit. Or that was my idea.

I have successfully passed the id of the row selected for edit to the edit page. The query has successfully returned the single record. I have been able to print_r the values. But I cannot get them to appear in the form fields. Ugh!

I want to freeze this step here as I continue. I have blocked out the page with css and included jquery to respond to the center nav [ Home | Products | Special Deals | etc... It will only pop up alert box "Hello YOU".

Trying to use an unordered list for the second row of elements and the placement does not come out well. Something [invisible to me] is preventing the ul from floating all the way to the left. Any clues?

I have looked in my css for padding and margin errors, but can't find any. If I try to add padding or margin to the right, the elements wrap to the next line. My last line in the ul is a div class clear. So I am baffled. I will work on the rest of the page until help arrives. Then I will try the same not using the ul.

I did quite finish my design. Having problems with the placement of thumbs under headshot div.
Trying to use an unordered list. It worked fine with a div containing a set of floating images. But I want to understand why this isn't working.
